Pregnancy can occur at anytime and often when you least expected.

Unplanned pregnancy can have very many impacts – emotional, psychological, physical and health. It may even change the future dramatically.

We offer easy access to confidential advice on contraception. After a careful review of your health, lifestyle, family history and your preferred choice of family planning, we will counsel on what is most suitable for you.

Birth control options available in our clinic include:

• Contraceptive pills: combined contraceptive pills or progesterone-only  (‘mini-pills’)
• Contracetive patches
• Contraceptive injection
• Contraceptive coils: Mirena IUS (hormonal coils) or copper coils (non-hormonal)
• Contraceptive implant (Nexplanon®)
• Contraceptive ring
• Vasectomy or tubal ligation counselling and referral

We support the use of the HPV vaccine in both women and men to prevent genital warts and cancers.

In addition, we offer emergency contraception if you feel you could be at risk of pregnancy from a very recent sexual encounter.
